Phlogopite mica is dimensionally stable, has reinforcing and barrier properties, as well as its chemical inertness. It is used to improve the physical properties (e.g. elasticity, rupture and water resistance) of polypropylene, polyethylene, PBT, PET, PPO and nylon composites. Product grades range from processed ores to highly delaminated and purified mica products.
